How to send an intro email to Group Officers with Password Reset information

This email will tell students how to get started with CampusGroups.  Please make sure that you replace [SCHOOL_NAME] by the name of your school and [SCHOOL_URL] by your CampusGroups sub-domain.  You can leave [FIRST_NAME] as is.


Hi [FIRST_NAME],
Welcome to CampusGroups at [SCHOOL_NAME]!

We have added you to CampusGroups and appointed you as an officer of a group.  To log on, you will need to Reset Your Password first.  

To do that, please click on the link below to do so:
[PASSWORD]

(This will send you an email which contains a secure Reset Password Link. You will need to create a new password on that page.)

  1. Log in to CampusGroups.

  2. Manage your group:

  • Add more group officers under Home > Officers

  • Modify your settings under Home > Group Settings

  • Add a logo or a banner for your group under Website > Logo & Colors

  • Create events under Events > New Event
