Using tags to categorize groups

Group Category Tags are used to create different categories of groups. These tags can be customized by School Administrators and each group can be part of multiple categories. Follow these steps to customize your tags:

  • Click on Admin > Settings > Tags

  • Navigate to Group Category Tags

  • Edit existing tags by clicking on the pencil icon next to the tag name or create new tags by clicking on Create Group Category Tag

Use colors to differentiate between groupings of categories. For example, make academic categories (e.g. School of Engineering, School of Business, etc.) red and club categories (e.g. Service, Spirituality, Outdoors, etc.) green.
